Life never gives us a RESET BUTTON. We might think that as we do a quick RESET on PC or laptops, when ever we feel that nothing is moving forward or system is not responding. RESET helps us to come back to starting point and triggers the operating system, rebooting all the processes and somehow make the system operational.
But our life system and cycle operates at different frequency. Here RESET means ending of a life cycle and a completion with no comeback. FULL-STOP.
The Positive aspect is that we all have the innate capacity and capability to ReStart anything, either work (business) or life itself, from scratch.
Let’s understand first what is the basic difference between Reset and ReStart.
RESET is to set again, repeating the same process anew. In IT or CS system, a reset clears any pending errors or events and brings a system to normal condition or an initial state, usually in a controlled manner. Though it clears the memory and reboot the system forcibly, losing all the unsaved progress so far. So we set the system or FIX it to start work again.
RESTART is to begin from a point at which nothing has been done yet. This can be at any point of time in life when nothing like this had ever been done before, so we had to start from scratch.
ReStart from Scratch is to create something totally different, completely new, rather than altering or adding to something that already exists.
